My Irlen story
I was referred for an Irlen screening. I was asked to read something but I couldn't remember what I had just. I chose an Aqua marine overly I was asked to read the passage again this time using the overlay To my surprise I remembered every thing I had read.
When I found out I had Irlen syndrome . I was really scared and confused I didn't want to be different.
I was frightened that I was going to break a bone or something worse . I was getting really bad headaches and eyes were itchy and watering all the time .
We worked out that my proper colours were two Purples and one
I feel very comfortable when I wearing my Irlen filters ; My brain is calm
I am proud of what I have achieved I am very confident now .
I feel like have a whole new world opening up in front of me and it marvellous.
